Harvest Host CSA Program

The VonThun Farms Harvest Host CSA Program is simple:

Any local resident, business, or location can sign up to be a weekly CSA drop off point.  An individual can be the host to a group of friends who join the program as CSA members… a local business can promote the CSA program to its customers, and become a host to those customers who join the CSA program…or a library, YMCA, or school can volunteer to be a host to any CSA members in their area.

The program details are simple: a delivery date and time are set, and the CSA baskets/boxes are delivered consistently each week. The Host Program requires a minimum of 12 CSA members per drop off location.

Since the Harvest Host CSA Program needs a manager, organizer, or person in charge at each drop off location, we offer a little perk to the program!

The person in charge will receive a 50% savings on their share if there is a minimum of 12 additional CSA membership shares that the person in charge will manage. (These memberships may be any combination of the 3 share types that we offer: Personal, Half, or Full).  If there is a minimum of 20 CSA membership shares that the person in charge will manage, the person in charge will receive 100% savings on their share.

PLEASE NOTE:
-CSA MEMBERSHIP PRICES ARE:
Personal Share: $250;  Half Share: $320;  Full Share: $500

-A DELIVERY FEE WILL BE ADDED TO EACH JERSEY FRESH TO WORK MEMBERSHIP.  The fee is relative to the number of miles between VonThun Farms and the CSA drop off point. The delivery fee schedule is as follows: Up to 6 miles from VonThun Farms: $1 per week ($18 total); Up to 12 miles: $1.50 per week ($27 total); Up to 20 miles: $2 per week ($36 total).

-Our Harvest Host CSA Program applicaton deadline is April 1.

-All CSA membership payments must be paid in full prior to April 15.
