Kids’ Day at the Farm
Flowers make great Mother's Day gifts!
When: May 8, 2010 (10am-4pm)
Admission Free
This fun-filled event is traditionally held the Saturday before Mother’s Day with flowering Mother’s Day gifts available and lots of activities for the kids. Our greenhouses are open with thousands of flowering Mother’s Day gifts as well as our everyday selection of annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs and hanging baskets.
Activities:
Each child is given a farm coloring book, a magnet and a flower topot and take home for Mom!
Additional Activities…Purchase tickets for only those activities you choose to participate in. Pony rides, petting zoo, straw maze, pedal courses, sand art, rubber duck races, paint a pot and additional activities that may vary with the weather.
Fall Festival
When: October 9-10, 2010 (10am-5pm)
Admission $5 per person (ages 3 and under free)
Always held on the Saturday and Sunday of Columbus Day weekend, this fun-filled festival day in the country promises to be an exciting adventure for all, with something for everyone!
Events, Entertainment and Enjoyment … free with Festival Admission
Animal rescues, crafts, and vendors. Handmade balloon animals for the kids (get here early…Jason is only here until 5 pm, and his fingers can only do so much balloon tyin’!). Clown and puppet shows, juggling, and stilt walking. Country music by Nashville Attitude that sets the tone for an enjoyable country afternoon. Goat milking demonstrations, straw jump, activity tent contests, crafts for the kids, and a visit with our special costumed guest. Antique farm tractors and equipment are on display. The Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department is usually available to fingerprint children, and often brings a member of their canine unit along for the weekend. McBlue (the talking recycling robot). Visit with Peter the Talking Pumpkin and stroll through our Ag Center, both educational stops as you tour the farm.

Pig Roast Weekend
When: October 16 & 17, 2010 (10am-5pm)
Admission Free
The South Brunswick Lions Club will be joining us for their annual Pig Roast. Each year, the Lions Club offer delicious pork bbq sandwiches, that melt in your mouth! Come on’ out this weekend for some down home country fun, and support our local Lions Club while you do!

Pick your own apples and pumpkins! Delicious food will be available from our farm food vendors. Visit with Peter the Talking Pumpkin and stroll through our Ag Center, both educational stops as you tour the farm.

Youth Weekend
When: October 23 & 24, 2010 (10am-5pm)

Kids and their Youth Groups and Organizations from all across New Jersey will join us for another
a-MAiZING weekend as they too, challenge their navigational skills and decide which turns they must make to successfully find their way through our 5+ acre interactive corm MAiZE! Youth groups that make advanced reservations for the MAiZE will also receive a free embroidered “I Conquered the MAiZE” patch with their paid MAiZE admission!

Moonlight Corn MAiZE
Walk the path in the dark...there's a silence like no other!
When: October 29 & 30, 2010 (6 pm-10pm)
Admission: $8 per person, ages 3 & under Free.
Imagine entering a 5+ acre Corn MAiZE in the dark, and having nothing to help you find your way out, other than a little moonlight! It’s challenging….and it’s AWESOME!! This year’s corn MAiZE will challenge the wits of those seeking to find the one exit from this mind-boggling puzzle – a unique source of good farmin’ fun for adults and children alike!
